Music is life. Don’t you?

Well, for us it’s a must-have in our life. We work with music, we travel with music, we fall in love with music, we play music, we mix music. We listen a lot of music.

In over 15 years we listened thousands of tracks, hundreds of albums, hundreds of artists. So we have a real passion on that.

Business is changing.

Recently, you know, music is taking a new way: free music, or at least, a very cheap music to buy.

The good news for peoples who love to listen music and, of course, find out new genres, artists and ideas is that today we have a lot of music to find out and listen, for free. Really.

The bad news is that everyone has to spend a lot of time to find out quality music for the ears. A lot of.

Find. Listen. Review.

So, cutting the long story short we decided to put online a human “filter” to select and propose quality free music for your ears. We find for you, we listen for you and, lately, we review for you.

What a wonderful news is this? Huh?

Promote.

Major artists have a staff who work for them, major labels who push them to the top.

But there are a lot of “minor” artists, good artists, that need to be find out and promoted. We believe in them, and together with other projects like Jamendo or Last.fm that are already doing a great job, our will is to promote them to the masses.

Of course we wish to promote the real talented ones.

Last, but not least, we wish to promote also all the great project like Jamendo and netlabels all around the world.

Is this totally legal?

Yes. We select and review only music under Creative Commons license, or any other one that permit to listen free music legally. In some case — and we hope it will become often — also the major artists release tracks or album for free (Nine Inch Nails, for example), so we review it too.

Even if we deeply check if the album is under free license, in the unfortunate case we review some no-legal album— because of wrong license declared, misunderstandings, and so on — we’ll remove it as soon as we know it.

Who is Jamazine?

Marco aka Bazzmann, is the founder of Jamazine. He was a technical DJ, radio speaker and musician (but maybe the best term is a “DJ that play” — check out his own album with the Stargazers band). Now is the owner of Bazzmann Srl, a communication + technology + photography agency, the commercial side that is behind this project.

Valentina, is the other half-part of this project. She was a radio speaker and made a lot of artist interviews.
