Reviews will be published for sure, but not at the same rhythm of the usual time.

But there is a good news, anyway, and the good one is that — after the one already released —  we have ready two brand new selections to release really soon.

The first one is another electro selection, with a mix of genre like goa, progressive, electro house and so on, not downtempo but with a “dancefloor” rhythm and velocity.

The second one is a house selection, with various type of house: from tribal to electro, from underground to deep.

So, stay tuned as well.

“The Foundation (formality Krackhouse Records) is comprised off 2 lyricists and one producer.  A relatively new crew we are about to make our mark not only on Fargo but on the midwest as a hole. Be on the lookout there will only be hot tracks and mean lyrics to come. We are workin on the album and drop the full length mixtape.”

The mixtape, for the ones who don’t know yet what it means, is a collection of tracks used for promo and often before the real launch of the official album, or as wrote in Wikipedia “as a way of generating hype” (especially in the hip-hop world).

So, this mixtape contains 16 tracks of cool hip-hop, with a Eminem / Dr. Dre / 50 Cents style.

We like all the mixtape, but we also love obviously some tracks of it.

It’s the case of the opening track The Foundation, with its orchestral samples. My 45 is a pretty clone of 50 & Eminem productions, with their typical arrangements and groove.

We really love Baby Girl, City Limits, Without You, Another Day and Rodeo. They are the most elegant and sophisticated of the whole album, with a magic sense on Another Day.

Sometime psychedelic, this artist let you remeber pieces of David Bowie, Doors,Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, Syd Barrett,Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, The cure, The who, Beatles and, in general all the music of 60′ s and 70’s.

It’s really strange to think that plaing is a chinese boy, culturally so far from american and english music. But, if you look through the musical chinese young musician landscape, you will find an excellent musicall scene.  Lonely Planet Boy 1969 has a strong musical background so the result is a mature album, dens of a great composition of different influences.

We really like the first track, Cellar Boy,  that introduce you to the world of the artist  using soft percussions, guitars and a grate vocal.

Also great the second track, Planet Earth’s Midnight Creature Show, so strongly influenced by the Bowie of Space Oddity.

Alf blues alf rock, track number seven mix a Ray Charles like piano with Led Zeppelin sonorities…astonishing!

We have some coming news for you. Sure.

Until now we focused on selecting and reviewing the best free music all around the world, and we are continuing on that. Until now we found various genres of music: electronic, rock, pop, blues, hip-hop, soundtrack and many more.

Recently we focused on have at least 2 reviews per week, one at monday and one at thursday. We introduced some new feature and still working to do that again.

So, which kind of news we’ll have for this brand new year?

First of all, we are working on a new layout. This temporary white&gray one will be substituted with a black based, cool and better usable layout. A good restyling to get all the best from Jamazine.

New features — that we silently tested on the website and now are official and supported — are:

1. Similar suggested albums: at the end of the review you now have a “Do you like it? Try also…” box with 5 random albums to listen for;
2. Number of tracks: in every review you will soon see the number of tracks contained in the album;
3. Staff rating: in every review you have now our rating, composed by 3 kind of value: idea, performance and mixing / registration;
4. Voting system: you can now comment and vote every review

And last, but not least, we will release soon a state of art compilations (mixed or not, it depends on genres of music).

Very refined, this album involve different sounds and is really elegant and some time sparkling.

Very well played, mixed and performed from the first song, City Lights, delicated and ethereal, to the last one, Going Home, made of guitars and  and percussions.

Virtuality, track number two, take you in a technological future world.

Deuterium, track four, gently smart  your ears: good swing!

Absolutely involving Bliss, track five, that can  make you picture a flight over a sunny beach.

The Dada Weatherman is Jonathan’s folk project, a young songwriter (20) from France, trained piano player but guitar player in the soul (from his own confession). — from biography on MySpace.

After many EPs, we are really pleased to review this complete album, with 13 tasty tracks.

If you like calm, warm and silky feelings, and if you like blues, folk and country, we really think you’ll appreciate this work from a real young musicians. A sound that feels british with his characteristic and melancholic singing, but comes from France.

Starting the selection of our preferred tracks, we suggest you the first opening track Song To Paris. We really like the arrangements and the groove.

A good country-folk influence is felt inside the Ballad of a Sad Man. It’s not a downtempo song, but it’s really relaxing as well.

Yellow Gold, the second top listened track on Jamendo, and Pacific Sailor are the second ones we like on this album. We love the groove, with its acoustic well played guitars.

Let we close with a “fast” country song. Ufo is not really funny, not really solar, but it’s probably the most “light” track of the whole album, with great acoustic guitar solo and country groove.

You just have to play it, and forgot it.

This EP starts with Unendliche Weiten, an old style track that remember the glorious battles and fights on the first home computer… Spectrum, VIC-20, Commodore 64, Atari… and so on. When less was more. Less bits to use, but more creativity.

Sigal aus dem All is short, melodic, smooth and silky.

Bringing you to the 90’s, Die Invasion is more dark then other tracks, with latin percussions and a 90’s synth groove.

Maybe Geisterstadt is the poorest track in composition and arrangement, but equally effective.

Christmas Christmas is the opening most rock track, with a funny timbal drum to remember that it’s a Xmas song.

Christmas for One is one of the two ballads included in this EP, it’s completely performed with electric piano, voice, some bell and tambourine. Very nice.

We Will Lie Beneath is the other speediest track of the album, a little bit indie and brit rock grooved.

Holy Christmas is a rock-blues old style song. We really like, maybe is the best track of the whole EP.

And, closing this work, you find Xmas, an electronically-magically experiment. Really magic and funny.

Oriental soud and a misterious sax in the first, opening track, Occidorient, with a grooving swing from grate percussions, electronic guitars and quick flutes!

Really deeply electronic is Influences, third track, where however a sax makes the atmosphere elegant and sophisticated.

Funky Drunky, track four, has a pressing rhythm: grate mix of electronic guitar, sax, bass guitar and more…

Start calm and relaxing Flutes on the air, the last song, but it’s just a joke: after fiew seconds rhythm and swing will groove up in a fascinating and hypnotic atmosphere!
