This is absolutely the Y2K soundtrack of the Commodore 64 and Gameboy generation, grown-up with pixelated heroes, 16-colors scenes, 8-bit sounds and 2-channels-2-polyphonic-notes soundtracks.

And if these 80′s gadgets made a real brand new era, the Pornophonique‘s album masterfully blend it with a new millennium sound. 8-bit lagerfeuer is simply brilliant!

Even if it’s hard to exclude some track to our preferred IPod playlist, we fallen in love with Sad Robot. The fusion of the 8-bit electronic sound with an acoustic guitar make a perfect habitat for the singer’s voice and, above all, for the vocoder filtered voice.

Take Me To The Bonus Level Because I Need An Extra Life and Space Invaders are too much involving to keep your feet and body stopped. You’ll really need to dance on the nostalgic sounds of the 80′s games.
