Second review for this artist on Jamazine! We like it because of his acoustirock-indie-NIN-influenced groove on his generous 11-tracks album!

Fresh Body Shop is an already knew artist here on Jamazine, already reviewed with his The Ugly Army about one year ago.

Today is here again, with a great acoustic album: Director’s Cut. It contains a touch of Trent Reznor singing and NIN atmospheres, blended with great indie rock groove.

We like to start with Twins, a nice country-styled with a great refrain on a acoustic-guitar-no-rhythm groove. We really appreciate it.

Next Home has slower rhythm, good arrangements and it’s really tasting, especially on intense moments. A perfect acoustic rock pearl.

And now, let’s increase the speed with Voodoo Doll, Translucid and the title track Director’s Cut. Three good and faster tracks to let you dance!

Take a preview on Jamendo:

Merry Christmas to every one! This EP is a little gift for your Xmas days!

This EP by Donderevo is a little gift for the Xmas holidays, with nice idea to put inside not just one genre, but various songs to listen. Even if the main groove is rock.

Christmas Christmas is the opening most rock track, with a funny timbal drum to remember that it’s a Xmas song.

Christmas for One is one of the two ballads included in this EP, it’s completely performed with electric piano, voice, some bell and tambourine. Very nice.

We Will Lie Beneath is the other speediest track of the album, a little bit indie and brit rock grooved.

Holy Christmas is a rock-blues old style song. We really like, maybe is the best track of the whole EP.

And, closing this work, you find Xmas, an electronically-magically experiment. Really magic and funny.

We already reviewed this collective, when they released the Volume 3, Lilith and Selena, a 27-tracks double album of absolutely good quality chillout music.

Now, with the new release, they added 1 more track, with excellent sounds.

So relax yourself and get ready…

A good friends of your relaxing time is the ones made by EXIT Project Shanti Place, called Granular Garden and Intro Scene. It’s an electronic and ethereal pleasure. More liquid, with a good electric Rhodes piano, is Don’t Be Sad by ArLeAn Project. An authentic Buddha Bar style track.

For your yoga sessions we suggest you Flight of Butterfly by TRANCESIB, In Subway.Morning 11 by Eugene Kush and The Feeling of Fly by Chistilin Aleksey.

For your stretching session after a hard fitness training, we have this winding-down tracks: Solitude of the Time by Ocean Shiver, The Sliping Countness and Till You Make a Breathe by The Kirbi, and Eyes Like a Lotus Flower by santah.

Last but not least, try to listen to Never Too Late by J-Sun, a funny experiment to bring the 70′s into the new millennium. Then pass to Desert by AI K: a fast and ipnotic trip over an electronic desert, blended to a jazzy bridge. Don’t miss it!

Well, it’s time to let you find out the rest of this work…

Paolo Pavan’s jazz is poetic, romatic and frequently joyful.

He’s masters had been Stefano Sabatini, pianist and composer, and Riccardo Biseo, famous pianist, arranger and director of recording productions.

From this kind of experience and through the collaboration with several folk, pop, rock and jazz band he draw by he’s music different styles and sonorities.

The result is that you have pieces like Looking a for a way out or Pablito’s Way, were rhythm and swing are pressing and fast, and you also have songs like Second and Slow Change, relaxing, refined, atmospheric jazz.

In the middle, you will find In praise of Honey Rose, that is half swingful and half soft and romantic.

Absolutely super-tasty jazz 'n' swing 'n' bop EP! Elegant, fizzy and fresh in the same time, a very good work and a must-have for your time.

Jazz is jazz. But too often is associated to a difficult-listening general idea from the masses.

We can say, in effect, that can be real. Sometime jazz is a very complex session of state of art musicians that go inside technicism and lose themselves in virtuosity. A real technical performance heaven, but too hard for many hears.

In spite of this Hugo ‘Droopy’ Contini, like other good jazz musicians, bring the jazz world into the masses with an elegant, fizzy and fresh 5-tracks EP called Surpriscording.

The opening track Dewey Square and Sandu are a loving swing jazz tracks. The difference is mainly in their velocity: the first one is a breathless fast dancing track, the second is a little bit slower with an excellent piano solo.

Beats Goes On is a fantastic hard-bop track, similar to the one used by the US3 on their Cantaloop hit. Very tasty.

Dexterity and Captain Hugo are the classic jazz ones of the EP.

Sometime someone needs a little piece of relax. Maybe at lunch, maybe in the mid of afternoon. Maybe in the evening, after a long day of hard work.

The time to relax in your bed, in summer, with a gentle sea breeze that kindly blows over the body, the hairs, inside the nostrils.

The time to relax in front of the fireplace, in winter, with a cup of tea, a glass of whisky or nothing, why not.

Well, just you & yourself.

In that moment Pinkle could be your nice friend, with his FFTme, a 12-tracks easy-listening album that is mainly a rock indie acoustic work, with some influence from caribbean and percussions.

The opening track Wake up remember the style of Coldplay, and it’s well performed, with a good electric guitar to strengthen the delicate general sound.

Different, with some latin and brazilian influence, is the third track called Laws of Physics, a good mic of bossanova and acoustic rock. Very tasty.

Blue Suit is a nice gentle speedy track. Nice on melodies and sounds, gentle on singing and speedy on rhythm, with a touch of hawaiian guitar playing.

The closing track Shoot the Moon is slow and elegant, with a speeding-up refrain and good electric piano playing.

An expression of a modern flamenco, perfectly performed, even if it's just a promo EP. This is a real latin heart from the deep España!

Sometimes the self producted works are better than the professional ones. Better because they are deeply backgrounded, better because there are a strong passion inside, and better because they are played better.

Xauen, la banda del mono Titi is that good work.

En el Olivar is just a 4-tracks EP, but it’s a real pleasure. It ain’t easy to make a good flamenco stuff without boring, at least when you wish to reach the maximum number of listeners. In this case we can say that they done the difference.

The same name track En el Olivar is an authentic, warm and passionate classic flamenco. Almost totally instrumental, with latin guitars and flute.

Alma de bossa is more gipsy, still latin, with a real good female voice and a duet with a male one. It’s a little bit “modern” than En el Olivar, but just a little bit.

Luna de Agosto is blended with a cuban influence, with a bright and funny sound. It’s a summer soundtrack.

The closing one, Miro al cielo Todavìa, has a particular character, with many rhythm changes, an authentic flamenco singing bridge and almost totally instrumental.

This girl has an astonishing and powerful voice! And this second unplugged album really rocks!

It’s not simple make an unplugged album without the risk to bore the listeners. Many major artists sometimes fail on this goal, becoming boring respect their studio works.

Well, it’s not the case of Geraldine. Absolutely not.

This 7-tracks album is pretty easy listening and powerful, with a touch of constant happiness.

The voice of this singer simply rocks, with a warm tone and a powerful vocal extension.

We really like all the tracks she composed, but Cold is probably the one we will prefere in the long time… rather… we will do that for sure.

We love also the rhythm and happiness of Osa Mayor, Geraldine — with a little bit of blues riff —, Empty — with its nice way of sing in the refrain —.

Finally, don’t miss the ballad Donde Ir.

And now, something different: it's milonga time! Directly from Buenos Aires and Barcelona, the fourth work of this great artist!

Keep a red rose between your lips and start the milonga… sensual, warm and romantic with your lady.

Raul Alejandro Mamone is a very eclectic man, since he has studied several scenic art subjects like acting, singing and dancing. Over 15 years of experience and knowledge, he’s now an active teacher on many tango’s schools located in Barcelona.

This is a 12 tracks album, totally sentimental and intense, with great performance of a classical tango songs.

We really like the “fast” closing track Tinta Roja, with its up and down movement… now a little bit slow, now faster, and so on.

The sentimental one we like, instead, is Naranjo En Flor. It’s pretty sentimental and intense, but without becoming too sugary or boring.

Take a preview on Jamendo:
