This EP by Donderevo is a little gift for the Xmas holidays, with nice idea to put inside not just one genre, but various songs to listen. Even if the main groove is rock.

Christmas Christmas is the opening most rock track, with a funny timbal drum to remember that it’s a Xmas song.

Christmas for One is one of the two ballads included in this EP, it’s completely performed with electric piano, voice, some bell and tambourine. Very nice.

We Will Lie Beneath is the other speediest track of the album, a little bit indie and brit rock grooved.

Holy Christmas is a rock-blues old style song. We really like, maybe is the best track of the whole EP.

And, closing this work, you find Xmas, an electronically-magically experiment. Really magic and funny.

Even if this is just an EP and not a complete album, in this 5-tracks release you can find all you can desire from a complete range of rock overview.

The work is pretty performed, except some improvement on recording and mixing that we suggest to do (we think is missing a good bass presence and voice is a little bit dominated by instruments). Technical suggestions a part, there is a real good and positive energy inside the work of Ultimate band.

The EP opens with Bourrinos, a good example of classic heavy-metal with a massive, big and wide guitars, Survivre starts with a nice acoustic guitar and becomes bad inside, Fuck You And Let Me Bleed is a really fast heavy-metal track.

Carved Upon Your Face bring you to the hardcore with a nice starting guitar phrasing, ending with Do You Remember, that mix the typical ballad sound with energized pillows.
