Have you never heard something like this from China? An amazing artist...you must ejoy it right now!

Let the music start…let your mind fly in a indefinite time and space…fly in the music.

Sometime psychedelic, this artist let you remeber pieces of David Bowie, Doors,Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, Syd Barrett,Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, The cure, The who, Beatles and, in general all the music of 60′ s and 70′s.

It’s really strange to think that plaing is a chinese boy, culturally so far from american and english music. But, if you look through the musical chinese young musician landscape, you will find an excellent musicall scene. Lonely Planet Boy 1969 has a strong musical background so the result is a mature album, dens of a great composition of different influences.

We really like the first track, Cellar Boy, that introduce you to the world of the artist using soft percussions, guitars and a grate vocal.

Also great the second track, Planet Earth’s Midnight Creature Show, so strongly influenced by the Bowie of Space Oddity.

Alf blues alf rock, track number seven mix a Ray Charles like piano with Led Zeppelin sonorities…astonishing!

Feeeel the beat and make a noise! To all the fan of The Prodigy, feel this beat now, directly from Russian Federation!

Do you feel good with The Prodigy noise? Do you stomp your feet inside their music flow?

Damn, you’re ready for the vodka groove of Nybraz, from the artic, cold Russian Federation. Yep, they are here with their Vendetta. Get ready. Serious.

They start bad, cool, hard.

Vendetta is the opening track of this 4-breathless-tracks EP, a serious pure energy production. It starts with a kind of alarm and immediatly with a truly fast breakbeat, and then the bass, and then acid sounds everywhere. But, wait, there is also a melodic bridge before the end. Oh, God there is a real melody inside.

Plus 1 mix a Prodigy-90′s-look&feel with the most recent distorted sounds, truly hard and breathless.

UDVN is something like the rock made electrohardbreakbeatrock, a lower rhythm with serious distorted guitar-like sound over all the track. Bring that noise!

Eastern Phantom is the closing track with a very good, fat, nasty groove and nice oriental-like leit-motif.

A mellow EP, full of electronic, ambient rock and many other different stiles of music.

The Time Machine, opening track, greatelly mix ambient sonorities with a taste of rock and a background o electronic.

We really like Scars, the second one, winning song with a pressing rhythm but, unfotunately, too short!

Wery well played and arranged The Morning Light – Scars, last track of the EP, great swing and great mix!

This ia an album to listen more and more to be deeply appreciate!

Nice play guys. This 2008 remix edition is a good massive sound release, better expressed through their reggae-dub attitude and soul.

14 tracks with a fat sound, good arrangements and performance, On Verra Plus Tard is considered the real first album by the band itself, including the bonus track Uniform Reggae Mix 6, with and original real roots dub sound.

Pain Of Life and Give Me A Sign could be peacefully considered the most “commercial” tracks of the entire work, with their fast groove and easy listening.

If you wish the real roots sound, don’t miss No More Fighting, There Is A Place, Comme Luise & Thelma, Promenons Nous Dans Les Bois, I’ll Be There (with a good dub influence) and the bonus track.

Dear Lady is something special, an intensive slow-ballad song perfectly performed, with a very fat and present bassline and good guitar riff.

In truth, we don’t really love the “rock” tracks, except Barfly.

An elegant lounge EP with jazz influence. Only 4 tracks, but masterfully composed and performed.

There are not so many info about this project called Lost in Saint Lazare but, as written on the cover of this EP album (“coming soon”), we hope they will be more present on Jamendo or some other place, really soon.

So, since all the 4 tracks are well composed, let me tell you how they are.

The title and open track Aller Simple is a good downtempo with a black music vibes, Sex Song is really sexy with its wide and fascinating drum set skillfully mixed with the voice and organ and Jazzy Woman is a typical lounge performance with a great and incisive singing. Enjoy, as its title suggests, is a house-lounge track with a fat groove and a vocal effect used in some recent 90′s songs (try to think to “Believe” performed by Cher, and you get that effect).

Take a preview on Jamendo:

Let me start with a personal production…

This is an excellent non-professional work made over 10 years ago, with various influence from electronic, rock, indian and trip-hop music.

This album contains tracks from downbeat to fast drum ‘n’ bass, from instrumental works to complete songs with a real singer. We could define it a relaxing album to listen, with ambient atmosphere and good arrangements.

If you like “Cafè del Mar” or “Buddha Bar”, that’s the music for you.

Personally I love Hip Sitar — one of the most complete on arrangement, groove and intensity; Jaipur Bagh — the best electronic track of the album, with a great drum and bass line, and ambience; Raga n Bazz — I feel it funny .

Check the sound yourself at Jamendo:
