This is the first release of our Jamazine Selections, made to offer an added value to our reviews, but mainly because we deeply believe that it’s the best way to help and improve the promotion of good artists all around the world, from indipendent netlabels.

So, welcome aboard.

Every release is, and will be, under the Creative Commons license “Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works 2.0 Generic”. This because of some artist choosed this license, and we believe is a good thing keep their choice protected here, too.

In any case, if you like some track, please refer directly to the artist’s official license to know what you can do with it.

As you can note on this release, every selection could contains more than one track from an artist: this happens only because they work good inside the selection we have in mind.

Testing Toys is a 6-tracks album, with a massive electronic sound, characteristic female singing and many influences from other musical genres, like tango.

The mainstyle of this album is a dejà-vu for your ears if you are already a fan of artists like Björk, Lamb, Hooverphonic and others from the same genre. But, this not means that this work of Fabryka is banal and uninteresting.

The opening track Legoland is a downtempo fat and atmospheric ouverture. Great bassline, great ambience and characteristic singing.

Speeding up the rhythm, A Cure has a drum’n'bass-like drumset baseline and a fat muted bassline. We like also the second choral distorted voice in the background.

We like the third track Handful of Dust, that include a tango insert merged with a fat and massive groove, with an appreciating singing.

Do you feel good with The Prodigy noise? Do you stomp your feet inside their music flow?

Damn, you’re ready for the vodka groove of Nybraz, from the artic, cold Russian Federation. Yep, they are here with their Vendetta. Get ready. Serious.

They start bad, cool, hard.

Vendetta is the opening track of this 4-breathless-tracks EP, a serious pure energy production. It starts with a kind of alarm and immediatly with a truly fast breakbeat, and then the bass, and then acid sounds everywhere. But, wait, there is also a melodic bridge before the end. Oh, God there is a real melody inside.

Plus 1 mix a Prodigy-90′s-look&feel with the most recent distorted sounds, truly hard and breathless.

UDVN is something like the rock made electrohardbreakbeatrock, a lower rhythm with serious distorted guitar-like sound over all the track. Bring that noise!

Eastern Phantom is the closing track with a very good, fat, nasty groove and nice oriental-like leit-motif.

Despite of the novice cover design, the album of Ant on Wax — with the featuring of AlieM — called Control is an authentic well done work, with professional feeling.

If you like the drum’n'bass genre, you’ll feel good with this production. Great sounds, flowing rhythm and a good female vocals inside.

The opening track, Going Down, starts with a sample that remember some 70′s TV series that will be mixed soon with a great bass and drumset line.

Nothing Like Tomorrow is an elegant track, with fat mute bass, good singing and minimal liquid sounds.

Control, Help, Invent and Iainteasy are the most faster and heavier tracks of the album.

Day after day and We don’t need no bitches, instead, are different. The first one is a kind of hardhouse track, very fat and cool. The second one, on the contrary, is something like a female rap, with good atmosphere.

The work of Paniq is very eclectic and original, especially on this 17-tracks album Neurons: Fire At Will.

We really like the ability to change from house to techno, from breakbeat to psy, from rhythm to… acapella! Inside the Paniq’s Neurons you can find dark atmospheres or funny stories, relaxing contemplations and dynamic runnings. All that you need is inside this work.

We like how the same name opening track Neurons: Fire At Will starts the album, with its “rolling” bassline and angelic-spatial atmosphere.

The funniest ones are probably Elektronische Musik, that could remember a modern style of the Kraftwerk, 23 Is The New 42 with a really interesting voice’s samplers playing and good groove, and Thoughtcrime, an electronic hanky-panky swing with a 70′s UFO solo.

If you love the hard house genre, Nice To Be Here is the song that you’ll make you sweat on your preferred dancefloor.

Do you need some psy trance music? Well, let’s go back to the 80′s with a psy version of the Knight Rider theme, recalled Psy Rider, and then line up your brain with the excellent Theta frequency.

Once you got them, try to relax yourself with Progression, a beatiful electronic download progressive track.

SaReGaMa is n real eclectic artist that could play as various kind of instrument as different genres of music.

This EP is a 4-track selection of funky and jazzy grooves, very energetic and well made.

The very fast and funky jazz title track Honky Fonky is made together with Hamelin Bérengnier, an excellent saxophonist. Oh No Babe remember the older funky songs, like James Brown, with good vocal samples and hammond organ performance. Fonky S and Hip Hop 4 Alex are more hip-hop than the other ones, and especially Fonky S is pretty similar to A Tribe Called Quest style.

If you like black sounds and trip-hop music, you’ll feel the works of Black Era an authentic pleasure to listen.

They play a very good dark music, finding the good sound and effect in every track. The singer apply an interesting use of her voice, modulating it, sometimes like a real instrument.

It’s really hard to choose the best tracks in this album, but trying it, The Black Page has a great singing (a real soul voice!) and interesting keyboard’s sound. Delete Careful has a wonderful singing, smoove sound and good hawaian-like guitar played.

Shielded simply rocks. A pure instrumental track, ipnotic and guitar based. If you like the Pink Floyd sound, you’ll really love this track.
