Oniric is an italian duo born in 2005 by Carlo De Filippo and GianVigo (Gianpiero Timbro).

Very refined, this album involve different sounds and is really elegant and some time sparkling.

Very well played, mixed and performed from the first song, City Lights, delicated and ethereal, to the last one, Going Home, made of guitars and  and percussions.

Virtuality, track number two, take you in a technological future world.

Deuterium, track four, gently smart  your ears: good swing!

Absolutely involving Bliss, track five, that can  make you picture a flight over a sunny beach.

Even if it seems to be an incomplete album, or at least an experimental one before the real release, the Alieninvasion is a good friend for your working time. You have no voices or too much groove changes, just a linear, simple but effective composition.

You just have to play it, and forgot it.

This EP starts with Unendliche Weiten, an old style track that remember the glorious battles and fights on the first home computer… Spectrum, VIC-20, Commodore 64, Atari… and so on. When less was more. Less bits to use, but more creativity.

Sigal aus dem All is short, melodic, smooth and silky.

Bringing you to the 90′s, Die Invasion is more dark then other tracks, with latin percussions and a 90′s synth groove.

Maybe Geisterstadt is the poorest track in composition and arrangement, but equally effective.

The wicked witch remember some old colossal movie soundtrack, movies like Ben Hur, The Ten Commandments, Spartacus, Cleopatra. Movies that made the story, in the real way.

This is a one-man-band album, the first of a canadian boy, Brad, that sometimes is compared to Beck.

Let we say that Make me nervous it’s, the opening album track, it’s really cool!
We like the funny mix of pop, electronic and alternative sounds.

Listen to Bad Attraction, track number four, and you will find a rock song with a recall to Lenny Kravitz!

Never get out, track number eight, it’s an interesting example of electronic music, very well palyed!

At last, this really is a very enjoyable album to get in your i-Pod!

Listening this 10-track album, from the first bit, you will certnainly think to Guns & Roses, Pearl Jam and Nirvana‘s songs.

The first tack, Dinner for one, its representative of the style of the Amity in Fame: wery well palyed guitars, good rhythm, smart vocalist, comparable with some Pearl Jam’s pieces!

Excellent rhythm and an accurate sound in Relagate the Judge, fourth track, with pressing guitar’s solo and an interesting vocal duo.

In Fading away, seventh track, appeares a nice tinkling that reminds you indian sound, exotic instruments evokes distant countries and the vocalist is really glamourous: this is the song that you will not expect!

Also very interesting next track, number eight, Letters to God that recall the Evanescence just because of a female vocalist with a crystalline voice.

Cuddle your ears with this gorgeous album, you will never regret… it’s amazing!

A great EP, not only rock but just a bit heavy, instrumental and more…

Listening it, someone can talk about the earlier Satriani and someonelse can think about Drean Theatre, but for us this is just a great example of fresh rock, smart composition and good execution!

We like especially the second track, L’acrobara del Deserto, very well plaied, great rhythm!

When you’ll  start listening this album, probably you will be surprise like us: actually, it is not too usual to find a soundtrack album complete, polished and mature like this one, out of the most famous soundtrack artists group.

And it’s also very interesting to hear that the artist, Roger Subiara,is an autodidact with no cognizance about solfeggio: amazin, isn’t it!?!

But he still  has a too deep sensitiveness for  music that allow him to compose symphonies and songs from the most aggressive to the most soft and delicated.

One of the best track is the second one, Point of no retur, with a marvelluous piano and a deep sense of  eternity….

We must remenber also other songs, like A piece of heaven, number four, that seems is  telling  a romantic love story, or Thryst, number three, that mix up drums, indian’s and electronic sounds all together!

However, it results very difficoult for us to choose just one song, because the whole album it’s so well done that the only thing that we can say is: listen it again and again, certainly you will never be bored!

An album for who don’t take life too seriously!

This four artists band is difficoult to pigeonhole, because of all the different gendre of music inside of this album.

Not only reggae, but also trumpets, percussions, africans sonorities and more!

Graden Tree maybe it’s the most reggae song of the album, slow and relaxing.

Dancehall Madness, track numeber seven, it’s really funny: great sound, pressing rhythm, nice swing!

Happy New Year and Running With Rockets makes you fell a little bit of rock by the scraped voice of the performer.

Paolo Pavan’s jazz is poetic, romatic and frequently joyful.

He’s masters had been Stefano Sabatini, pianist and composer, and Riccardo Biseo, famous pianist, arranger and director of recording productions.

From this kind of experience and through  the collaboration with several folk, pop, rock and jazz band he draw by he’s music different styles and sonorities.

The result is that you have pieces like Looking a for a way out or Pablito’s Way, were rhythm and swing are pressing and fast, and you also have songs like Second and Slow Change, relaxing, refined, atmospheric jazz.

In the middle, you will find In praise of  Honey Rose, that is half swingful and half soft and romantic.

Vendetta is the opening track of this 4-breathless-tracks EP, a serious pure energy production. It starts with a kind of alarm and immediatly with a truly fast breakbeat, and then the bass, and then acid sounds everywhere. But, wait, there is also a melodic bridge before the end. Oh, God there is a real melody inside.

Plus 1 mix a Prodigy-90′s-look&feel with the most recent distorted sounds, truly hard and breathless.

UDVN is something like the rock made electrohardbreakbeatrock, a lower rhythm with serious distorted guitar-like sound over all the track. Bring that noise!

Eastern Phantom is the closing track with a very good, fat, nasty groove and nice oriental-like leit-motif.
