An absolute bomb! An electronic album with hip-hop, percussions, indian vibes and more! A must-have!

The album of miss Kellee Maize is an absolute and pleasant discovery! An eclectic example of various genres blend, all supported by electronic music.

Put it on a enthusiastic mood, and you get the Aligned Archetype. Simply excellent.

Start with the “smooving dancefloor” Future Remix: fast rhythm, hypnotic sound, hip-hop rhymes. You can’t stay stopped.

Then relax yourself with Signs, a great indian percussive track. We so loved it that we used for our second Downtempo Selection. If you like it, listen to Pulse, too. A well done indian hip-hop.

If you like dancehall music, you will love Godette. A smooving dubstep / dancehall track with a great bassline.

Do you still have energy available? Well play loud Friday Night Flu Remix: a great back in fabulous ’70s!

We also loved Third Eye, a sort of album hymn.

Take a preview on Jamendo:

An electronic background music for your work and working moments. Only instruments, no one voice inside, just for your concentration.

Even if it seems to be an incomplete album, or at least an experimental one before the real release, the Alieninvasion is a good friend for your working time. You have no voices or too much groove changes, just a linear, simple but effective composition.

You just have to play it, and forgot it.

This EP starts with Unendliche Weiten, an old style track that remember the glorious battles and fights on the first home computer… Spectrum, VIC-20, Commodore 64, Atari… and so on. When less was more. Less bits to use, but more creativity.

Sigal aus dem All is short, melodic, smooth and silky.

Bringing you to the 90′s, Die Invasion is more dark then other tracks, with latin percussions and a 90′s synth groove.

Maybe Geisterstadt is the poorest track in composition and arrangement, but equally effective.

A voice that can evoc all the latin heat, accompanied from a wery well perfomed percussion and instruments sound.

This live album its really warm and winning beacause it takes the traditional bazillian music like Samba, Bossa Nova, Brazilian Jazz and elaborates it in new sonorities, new arrangements, new music solutions!

Couro e cordas, first track, maybe it’s the more traditional of the album. We really like guitars performs, and percussion sound: wery well played.

We really appreciate Un brasileiro no strangeiro, track number three, excellent swing and nice vocal proof!

In Nao entendi o jogo, track number four, we really like the non-stop rhytm changes, and percussions beat!

The energy of latin sound just for you!

Da ragga time is here!

Directly from the central Italy, straight from Rome, an explosive album with classic reggae-raggamuffin style merged with electro and dance sounds. And a little tribute to The Queens.

Bla Bla, the opening and titletrack, together with Mi Promote Marjuana, Romanamour and Sing a Song are a classic reggae – dub tracks, with fat bassline and classic reggae sounds.

Cucina Casareccia (Pasta all’ova version) is maybe the most funny track of the Baracca Sound’s album, the argument is about the handmade typical italian cuisine and foods.

Ragamuffin starts with a little tribute to We Are The Champion by The Queens. Even if the Queens reprise is not so good inside the track, the groove with the fat voice is a good.

Atollo is the most happy and with a sunny character track, you’ll see the sea, the sun, pretty guys and girls play on the beach in the meanwhile you’re drinking your preferred cocktail.

Miss Yakaba and Fillindia, two talented promises on the scene.

Wash your hands of it is a very good, warm and intensive album for all the stages. They skilfully blended electronic with acoustic sounds, electro music with acoustic rock, passing through blues, ethnic and soul influences.

Very tasty and pleasant.

The opening track, Strong enough, starts with an ethnic rhythm loop to introduce a warm soul-blues melodic female singing, with a great surprise at the end of it.

The same name track Wash your hands of it instead, open itself with an electronic sound and continues with a saucy way, but truly intensive.

Call me back is the most faster track of the album, with a great groove and a great acoustic guitar “pad”.

We truly love the closing track Infatuation (maybe is the right title for us ) with its downtempo groove, that pretty smoky atmosphere that remember a bit of the anguished and experienced Pink Floyd sound and the female-male voice duet.

Take a preview on Jamendo:

Great concept rock instrumental album from the amazing Nine Inch Nails! Not precisely for all the ears, but there is high-level experimentation. A must-have.

For those who already know Trent Reznor and the Nine Inch Nails, there’s no words to describe them, they are simply wonderful. It’s not music for the whole market and ears, but these guys really play music, not just sell it.

The complete album is a 36-tracks package, available in various music formats and with a 40 pages PDF booklet, and you can have it for just $5.

But also, there is the free version with the first 9 tracks of the complete release.

Quoting Trent:

This music arrived unexpectedly as the result of an experiment. The rules were as follows: 10 weeks, no clear agenda, no overthinking, everything driven by impulse. Whatever happens during that time gets released as… something.

The team: Atticus Ross, Alan Moulder and myself with some help from Alessandro Cortini, Adrian Belew and Brian Viglione. Rob Sheridan collaborated with Artist in Residence (A+R) to create the accompanying visual and physical aesthetic.

We began improvising and let the music decide the direction. Eyes were closed, hands played instruments and it began. Within a matter of days it became clear we were on to something, and a lot of material began appearing. What we thought could be a five song EP became much more. I invited some friends over to join in and we all enjoyed the process of collaborating on this.

The end result is a wildly varied body of music that we’re able to present to the world in ways the confines of a major record label would never have allowed – from a 100% DRM-free, high-quality download, to the most luxurious physical package we’ve ever created.

More volumes of Ghosts are likely to appear in the future.

From the 9-tracks free release we love the two melodic and relaxing ones: the opening 1 Ghost I and the closing 9 Ghost I. Also we really like the smooving 3 Ghost I, with Adrian Belew.

And now, something different: it's milonga time! Directly from Buenos Aires and Barcelona, the fourth work of this great artist!

Keep a red rose between your lips and start the milonga… sensual, warm and romantic with your lady.

Raul Alejandro Mamone is a very eclectic man, since he has studied several scenic art subjects like acting, singing and dancing. Over 15 years of experience and knowledge, he’s now an active teacher on many tango’s schools located in Barcelona.

This is a 12 tracks album, totally sentimental and intense, with great performance of a classical tango songs.

We really like the “fast” closing track Tinta Roja, with its up and down movement… now a little bit slow, now faster, and so on.

The sentimental one we like, instead, is Naranjo En Flor. It’s pretty sentimental and intense, but without becoming too sugary or boring.

A double album from Moscow. Quality electronic chillout music from an international collective began on the 2007. 2 hours and half of pleasure.

The community named “Tunguska Electronic Music Society” was created by several musicians and composers on the threshold of centenary of the Tunguska phenomenal catastrophe, in order to capture the public attention to such an extraordinary event.

It is an international creative cooperation of musicians, producers, dj’s and composers, who work from the beginning of 2007 in “Tunguska Music” style. TMS is also a net of network music distribution labels and a net of little bars and cafes.

Over 15 artists and 27 tracks inside this state of art chillout double album.

The main style of the whole work is smooth and liquid, with sounds from Mother Earth to Outer Space, up and down through the mesosphere and the exosphere.

Into this big cosmic galaxy of music we found our preferred brighter stars, named Argonika with their Heavens Cry and Do You Hear. We really loved the vocoder singing and the composition.

Moreover, we really like Pianochocolate with his mix of classical instruments like piano and violins on an electronic pad. In ZuZu we also have an Indian singer, we suppose.

And, even if we have to remember that all the work is a bomb, we have one more shot to bang: Electro-Nick with his Istra Train. We really appreciate the involving groove with the brass-like synth solo.

This was the first Cape Verdean album to combine the musical traditions of Cape Verde, Haiti and Angolan Semba in one album. An high level latin production.

Quoting an excerpt from their biography on MySpace and UBL:

“In 2006, the Mendes Brothers were recognized by the Prime Minister of Cape Verde with a “Medal of Merit” for their invaluable contribution to the music of Cape Verde, while Ramiro Mendes was awarded the “The Order Of Volcano”, the highest civilian medal, by the President of Cape Verde for his distinguished contribution to Cape Verdean music and culture.”

So, if you like the world music like Kanda Bongo Man, Salif Keita or Toots & the Maytalls, then this album will be the right one for you pleasure.

This 12-tracks album is generally pretty rhythmed, except for Kabu Verdi that is a great brazilian acoustic track that reminds the works of Toquinho’s best period.

Thanks to their margarita sound, we really like Pasadinha, Pekadu, Pisonha and Margarida. They are probably the most caribbean and brazilian tracks contained inside, both for rhythm and athmosphere.

But, taking an immaginary airplane from Caribbean to Africa, we have an exceptional african sound duo: Angolamania and Luanda. You will surely breath the warm air of Africa, you will feel the african sun on your skin and, damn, you will see all the african colors!

What do you think about a white beach, a perfect sea mixed with a fresh and funny jazz?
Listen here!

Very well arranged and mixed, this album blend different type of music.

In every song, jazz act as a glue, but contaminated by different kind of sonority, new and fresh combinations of sounds.

If La note en cage it’s a more traditional jazz piece, that you usually listen relaxed on your sofa drinking a good whisky, Péninsule can take you away, far away, offering you a caipiriña, under a bent palm, breathing the sweet sea breeze in a perfect summer sunset.

Than come Sumbala, that take you straight in Africa, with its pressing percussions and its sound, perhaps not so jazz but really refined.

Again traditional jazz in L’agonie de lispecteur C, sensationally played.

More and more…

Well, this albun will amaze you with innumerable combinations of different styles of music, tied together by jazz.

It’s a work that can surprise you and make you know a new way to play jazz.
